So, you want to start working with me?

This is where it gets mega exciting! By this point you would have reached the place of overwhelm within your business. You would come across the idea of a ‘Virtual Assistant’, and just like that, your prayers have been answered! Now we are here, and might I add, you have made a very clever decision to enlist the help of a VA… if I do say so myself.

Where do we go from here? I am here to give you a helpful introduction on what to expect. From the point you contact me drowning in you don’t know what anymore, until I become your new best friend in all things overwhelm relief!

You’ve reached out, this is a BIG step. You’ve accepted you need help, and I am here to do just that. We will get a discovery call/Zoom/meeting (if you’re local) booked in and break down where you’re struggling within your business. You’ll get to know me, and me with you. No doubt we’ll realise we’re a perfect match! I strongly believe that finding you perfect VA should also be based on compatibility. My clients have now become great friends of mine.

We’ve left our call/meeting and you are super keen to get started (I’m assuming!). I’ll go away and put all the super important paperwork together for you. By now you would have decided how you would like to work with me, on retainer or per hour. I always recommend a retainer, or at least move onto a retainer after a month. This way you can guarantee my time, and it can keep your finances organised. I will also send you an onboarding form to complete. This is so I can get to know you and your business better.

Great, you’ve completed all the paperwork and sent it back to me. I will now be sending you the link to our shared Trello board (or another project management tool you prefer). There is nothing worse than emails going backwards and forwards. This way we can both stay on top and monitor progress of tasks.

The last thing I request from you to complete set up, is to sign up to LastPass, a great password sharing platform which enables you to share your login details completely securely, I won’t even need to know them, but will still have access.

Now we are good to go! Fill up the to-do-list on our Trello board, and let’s get started shall we?! We’ll have regular catch ups, whether by a weekly/fortnightly Zoom, or some Whatsapp messages/voicey’s (I am partial to a voicey!), whatever suits you and what you’re looking for.

It’s not scary once we get started, but there is a small level of prep work needed so we don’t add to any overwhelm. A helpful tip is to come to me with an idea of tasks you know you need help with. This will definitely help to speed up the process and get us hitting the ground running!
